Web design and development professionals

The Web Design and Development Professional will be part of our dynamic in-house team, working on self-scan and ordering technology, Mobile Apps (for staff day to day operations, customer loyalty programmes, digital table ordering systems and more), development of our online inventory management, staff payroll management, monitoring of legal health and food safety compliance related to shop operations etc to create the world''s first smart café restaurant.

You will be responsible for

Responsibilities :

Identify challenges in existing system and workflow, co-ordinating with concerned team members to develop web based programs and solutions to help the business units synchronise its operations at different levels / locations.
Design, Develop and improve our web based POS – Self Serve Kiosks as well as staff operated tills.
Design, Develop and improve our Mobile Apps including Staff-Task App, Customer-Loyalty App, Table-Ordering App.
Design, Develop and improve of our online inventory management, sale monitoring, staff payroll management, legal compliance monitoring related to shop operations etc.
Design & Develop websites, online stores, Social media pages, Ad Design for online promotions.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop, maintain, and improve web applications.
Managing our IT infrastructure and digital assets.
Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of all our web applications.
Identifying and addressing technical problems and bugs.
Staying up to date with emerging web technologies and best practices.
Keeping management updated about the latest progress and challenges.

You will need

Skills, Experience, Qualification :

Bachelor’s/Master Degree in Computer Science or related. Some subsequent Management degree / diploma will be a plus.
Industry experience in IT , ERP development or related areas.
Expertise and passion for web design and development
Proficiency in PHP Core and Laravel, MySQL, Wordpress, HTML5 / Bootstrap, Javascript. Knowledge of Linux (Server administration), Virtual Private Server Hosting will be a plus.
Strong analytical, problem solving and logical thinking skills
Excellent programming and presentation skills
Good team work and able to work independently
Excellent written and oral communication in English

£26,800 per annum
